Watch: GOT7's Jinyoung And Roh Jeong Eui Are Reunited By Fate In New Teaser For Romance Drama "The Witch"
Channel A’s upcoming drama “The Witch” has unveiled a new teaser!
Based on “Moving” author Kang Full’s webtoon of the same name, “The Witch” is a mystery romance about a woman who distances herself from the world due to tragedy and a man who refuses to give up on her.
Roh Jeong Eui stars as Mi Jung, a woman who was called a “witch” and chased away from her village after all the men who fell in love with her died. GOT7’s Jinyoung will play Dong Jin, a man who grew up with Mi Jung and tries to save her from the mysterious pattern of death that follows her.
The newly released teaser begins by showing Mi Jung in high school as she says in voice-over, “Ever since I was young, strange things often happened around me. People called me a witch.” As Mi Jung goes about her lonely life as a teenager, Dong Jin watches her from a distance, recalling, “I thought to myself that this time, I needed to start a conversation with her no matter what. It was an unrequited love where I was never able to tell her, ‘You’re not a witch.’”
The teaser then shifts to present day, when adult Dong Jin unexpectedly spots Mi Jung on the subway in a fateful moment. “But then today, like a miracle, I ran into her,” he says, with the teaser ending on an image of Dong Jin staring at Mi Jung from afar in high school.
“The Witch” will premiere on February 15 at 9:10 p.m. KST, taking over the time slot currently occupied by “Check in Hanyang.”
