BTS's "Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~" Becomes Their 9th Album To Be Certified Gold In UK

BTS has earned another official gold certification in the United Kingdom!

This week, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that BTS’s 2020 Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” had earned a gold BRIT certification, making it their ninth album to achieve the feat.

According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units sold, while singles are certified gold at 400,000 units sold.

“Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” is BTS’s ninth album to be certified gold in the United Kingdom, following “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Face Yourself,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” and “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever,” “Love Yourself: Her,” and “Proof.”
