Watch: Go Ara Weighs Her Heart Between Jang Ryul And SF9’s Chani In Upcoming Drama “The Scandal Of Chunhwa”
Upcoming TVING drama “The Scandal of Chunhwa” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!
“The Scandal of Chunhwa” is a historical romance drama that tells the story of Princess Hwa Ri (Go Ara) who, after experiencing the heartbreak of her first love, declares her intention to choose her future husband herself. Her groundbreaking decision throws the royal palace into turmoil and entangles her with two men: Choi Hwan (Jang Ryul), the city’s most notorious playboy, and Jang Won (SF9’s Chani), the city’s most eligible bachelor.
The newly released main poster showcases Princess Hwa Ri, Choi Hwan, and Lee Jang Won in a traditional folk art style reminiscent of lovers in a storybook. Choi Hwan is standing close to Hwa Ri with a relaxed smile while Lee Jang Won appears conflicted and as though hiding something.
Above the trio, the phrase “Found it! The perfect husband” catches the eye. Fans are eager to discover which man has won Princess Hwa Ri’s heart after she set out on her own to find a husband.
The newly released teaser begins with Princess Hwa Ri, a constant source of commotion and scandal in the Dongbang Kingdom. Following the king’s order for her to get married, she confidently says, “Please let me personally make the final decision on the groom chosen through this process,” shaking the entire palace.
Now that she has the power to choose her husband, Hwa Ri finds herself contemplating who would bring her the greatest happiness as her partner. As she considers qualities like love, wealth, and strength, she becomes involved with several suitors, including Choi Hwan, the kingdom’s wealthiest playboy, and Lee Jang Won, an elite among elites.
As the trailer progresses, Hwa Ri’s initially playful expression turns to one of longing. In a lovestruck voice, she confesses that she has someone she wants to marry, heightening viewers’ curiosity about the chaotic groom selection process.
