“Dark Nuns” Surpasses 1 Million Moviegoers
“Dark Nuns” has surpassed 1 million moviegoers just six days after its release!
On January 29 at 3:46 p.m. KST, the film reached 1 million moviegoers, making it the second Korean movie of 2025 to do so following “Hitman 2,” which crossed the mark earlier the same day.
The female version of Kang Dong Won’s hit 2015 film “The Priests,” “Dark Nuns” tells the story of nuns who perform exorcisms to save a young boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
Song Hye Kyo stars as Sister Junia, a nun who defies opposition from her religious order to perform an exorcism, while Jeon Yeo Been plays Sister Michaela, a woman of science who initially places her faith in medicine but ultimately joins Junia in the battle against darkness.
Congratulations to the cast and crew!
