BLACKPINK's Rosé Becomes 1st Female K-Pop Artist Ever To Reach Top 3 Of Billboard Hot 100

BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues to soar to new heights on Billboard’s Hot 100!

For the week ending on February 1, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ hit collab “APT.” rose to a new peak of No. 3 in its 14th week on the Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States.

With this achievement, Rosé has become the first female K-pop artist ever to enter the top 3 of the Hot 100 (even including groups).

Earlier this week, Billboard also announced that “APT.” had hit No. 1 on its Pop Airplay chart (which measures weekly plays on mainstream U.S. Top 40 radio stations), making Rosé the first K-pop artist of any gender to top the chart.

Additionally, “APT.” remained No. 1 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart this week, making it the first K-pop song ever to top the chart for 13 weeks. The song also stayed strong at No. 2 on the Global 200, No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart (meaning it was the second best-selling song of the week in the United States), and No. 6 on the Streaming Songs chart, while rising to a new peak of No. 7 on the Radio Songs chart (which measures U.S. radio plays across all musical genres, not just Top 40 pop).

Rosé’s “toxic till the end” ranked No. 38 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 63 on the Global 200 in its seventh week, while “number one girl” took No. 109 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 172 on the Global 200 in its ninth week.

Meanwhile, Rosé’s solo album “rosie” held relatively steady at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, where it became the first album by a female K-pop soloist to chart for seven weeks. “rosie” also climbed back up to No. 8 on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart in its seventh week on both charts.

Finally, Rosé jumped to No. 23 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking her 15th overall week on the chart as a solo artist.

Congratulations to Rosé!
