GOT7's Youngjae And Kim Tae Hoon Have Complex Ties To Hyeri, Jung Soo Bin, And More In "Friendly Rivalry"
Upcoming drama “Friendly Rivalry” has shared a new sneak preview of the drama!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Friendly Rivalry” is a mystery thriller set at Chaehwa Girls’ High School, an elite institution for the top 1 percent in South Korea, where cutthroat academic competition takes place between the students. Jung Soo Bin stars as Woo Seul Gi, a transfer student who becomes entangled in her classmates’ hidden ambitions.
Kim Tae Hoon plays Yoo Tae Joon, the father of Chaehwa’s top-ranked student Yoo Jae Yi (Hyeri). As the director of J Medical Center, Yoo Tae Joon has great wealth as well as a charming appearance. He believes that everything in life must be won through competition, and this value is reflected in his children as he is a father who gives conditional rewards based on results rather than unconditional love. He spares no expenses in investing in his “perfect” daughter who seems to take after him, and he actively participates in her academics as the head of Chaehwa’s parent association.
GOT7’s Youngjae plays Nam Byung Jin, who is from the same orphanage as Woo Seul Gi. Even after Woo Seul Gi transfers to Chaehwa Girls’ High School, he stays close to her and creates an element of suspense, also becoming intertwined with Yoo Jae Yi, Joo Ye Ri (Kang Hye Won), and Choi Kyung (Oh Woo Ri).
“Friendly Rivalry” is set to premiere on February 10. Stay tuned for updates!
