Ha Jung Woo Fights With Fury And Vengeance In Fierce Battle For The Truth In Upcoming Film “Nocturnal”
The highly anticipated thriller film “Nocturnal” has unveiled charismatic new stills of Ha Jung Woo!
“Nocturnal” follows the story of Bae Min Tae (Ha Jung Woo), who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his younger brother’s mysterious death, the disappearance of his brother’s wife, and a bestselling novel that eerily predicts the incident.
On January 31, the film unveiled new stills capturing Ha Jung Woo in a gripping harbor fight scene, radiating raw fury. The stills showcase Min Tae at his breaking point—his sharp gaze burning with rage as he fiercely battles his opponents while wielding a metal pipe. In stark contrast to his previously composed, methodical approach to tracking clues, this unrestrained explosion of fury raises anticipation for the shocking truth he’s about to uncover.
Director Kim Jin Hwang shed light on the action scene, sharing, “I wanted to capture Min Tae’s unwavering resolve through an intense, high-stakes confrontation.”
He also praised Ha Jung Woo’s ingenuity in suggesting the use of a frozen fish as a weapon—an idea that heightened the authenticity of the port setting and made the sequence even more dynamic. Ha Jung Woo remarked, “I focused on fully immersing myself in the location, thinking about how to best incorporate the surroundings to enhance realism.”
“Nocturnal” is set to hit theaters on February 5 KST. Stay tuned!
