Suzy Becomes Kim Woo Bin’s New Master In Upcoming Fantasy Rom-Com “Genie, Make A Wish”

“Genie, Make A Wish” follows Jinn (Kim Woo Bin), a genie who awakens after a thousand years. Once disconnected from his career, he meets Ka Young (Suzy), a woman struggling with emotional detachment and stuck in a life controlled by her grandmother’s rules and her own routines. The series weaves a romantic comedy around their conflicts over three wishes.
Written by Kim Eun Sook, known for hits like “Heirs” and “The Glory,” the series has already generated significant buzz. It also marks the highly anticipated reunion of Kim Woo Bin and Suzy, who last worked together in the 2016 drama “Uncontrollably Fond.” Kim Woo Bin stars as Jinn, while Suzy plays Ka Young, his new impassive master.
The cast also includes Ahn Eun Jin as Mi Joo, a mysterious woman, and Noh Sang Hyun as Soo Hyun, a wealthy building owner with a suspicious agenda. Go Kyu Pil plays Sayyid, Jinn’s loyal companion in the form of a black jaguar. Lee Joo Young rounds out the cast as Min Ji, Ka Young’s only friend. Together, these characters add depth and excitement to the series.
“Genie, Make A Wish” is set to air in the fourth quarter of 2025.
