Jung Chaeyeon In Talks Along With Lee Jin Uk To Star In New Drama About Lawyers
Actress Jung Chaeyeon may be starring in a new drama!
On February 5, a media outlet reported that Jung Chaeyeon will star in the new drama “Esquire” (literal title).
In response to the report, Jung Chaeyeon’s agency BH Entertainment stated, “Jung Chaeyeon received an offer to star [in the drama] and is reviewing it positively.”
“Esquire” is a drama that delves into the stories of lawyers, inspired by real legal cases. The series will be directed by Producing Director Kim Jae Hong, who previously helmed the SBS drama “Flex x Cop.” Lee Jin Uk, who is currently under the same agency with Jung Chaeyeon, is reportedly in talks to take on the male lead role in the drama.
Since making her screen debut in the 2019 Netflix series “My First First Love,” Jung Chaeyeon has appeared in various projects including the dramas “The King’s Affection,” “The Golden Spoon,” and more. Recently, the actress received praise for her portrayal of the lovable and cheerful character Yoon Ju Won in the JTBC drama “Family By Choice.”
