Park Ji Hoon In Talks To Lead New Webtoon-Based Drama
Park Ji Hoon may be taking on another lead role in an upcoming drama!
On February 5, OSEN reported that Park Ji Hoon has been cast in the drama “Kitchen Soldier” (working title).
In response, his agency YY Entertainment stated, “It is one of the projects he’s currently reviewing.”
Based on a popular web novel and webtoon of the same name, “Kitchen Soldier” follows the story of Kang Sung Jae, a young man from a humble background who enlists in the military and rises to become a legendary cook.
Park Ji Hoon has reportedly been offered the role of Kang Sung Jae, a poor soldier who builds his success through exceptional cooking skills and relentless effort.
The drama will be helmed by Jo Nam Hyung, who co-directed “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” and “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938,” and penned by Choi Ryong, the writer of KBS Joy’s “Sorry Not Sorry.”
