“Taxi Driver 3” Confirms Cast And Premiere Plans
SBS has officially announced that “Taxi Driver 3” will premiere in the second half of 2025!
On February 6, the network stated, “The new season of the ‘Taxi Driver’ series, which has received immense love from viewers, is officially scheduled to air on SBS in the second half of the year,” heightening anticipation.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” follows a secretive taxi service that delivers justice on behalf of victims who have been failed by the legal system.
The upcoming season will reunite the entire Rainbow Taxi team, highlighting their strong bond once again. Lee Je Hoon returns as Kim Do Gi, the skilled driver at the core of Rainbow Taxi. Kim Eui Sung reprises his role as Jang Sung Cheol, the team’s steadfast leader. Pyo Ye Jin is back as hacker Ahn Go Eun, while Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram return as Choi Kyung Goo and Park Jin Uhn, the resourceful engineering duo.
Before the second season ended, Lee Je Hoon expressed his excitement, saying, “I would love to create another story with this family.” With their deepened camaraderie, anticipation continues to build for the new season.
The production team includes writer Oh Sang Ho, who penned “Taxi Driver” seasons 1 and 2, returning for the third season. He will team up with director Kang Bo Seung, known for his work as a co-director of “Dr. Romantic 3.”
The series will retain the most captivating elements of previous seasons while expanding its world with an even more immersive storyline. With the production team aiming for a third consecutive hit, expectations are high for the synergy they will bring to the series.
