Watch: Jeon Hye Jin Is A Working Mom Who Drives Her Daughter To Academies In Upcoming Drama

The upcoming drama “Riding Life” (literal translation) has unveiled new stills and a teaser video, offering a glimpse into the lives of moms caught up in the high-pressure world of children’s education!

“Riding Life” follows working mom Lee Jung Eun (Jeon Hye Jin), who asks her mother Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo) to give her daughter rides to academies as the girl prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies). Set in the competitive Daechi district, known for its intense educational culture, the drama explores the pressures of private tutoring. It provides a humorous yet realistic look at the academic struggles of early childhood education.

The newly released stills capture Lee Jung Eun, a beauty marketer who is passionate about her 7-year-old daughter’s education. Amid her own demanding job, she is seen rushing between academy drop-offs and pick-ups, interacting with other moms who are facing the same competitive education scene. Her passionate yet desperate expression suggests that she will stop at nothing to secure the best possible education for her daughter.

The accompanying teaser video provides a closer look at what the “riding life” truly entails. The video opens with Jung Eun frantically running around, while a voiceover introduces the concept of “riding life”—driving children to private academies and picking them up again, a far cry from leisurely bike rides.

The entrance exam revolves around access to information and time, so both Jung Eun and her mother Ji Ah take part in giving rides and helping the child survive in this fiercely competitive environment.
