IU and Park Bo Gum’s highly-anticipated new drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines” has unveiled a new teaser video and stills!

“When Life Gives You Tangerines” tells the adventurous life stories of Ae Sun and Gwan Sik as they experience the vibrant seasons of Jeju Island. IU plays the role of the bold and rebellious Ae Sun while Park Bo Gum stars as Gwan Sik, a quiet but reliable character.

The drama is written by hit writer Lim Sang Chun of “Fight My Way” and “When the Camellia Blooms” and directed by Kim Won Seok, who previously worked on “Misaeng (Incomplete Life),” “Signal,” and “My Mister.”

The newly released teaser trailer captures attention with the fresh and youthful moments of Ae Sun and Gwan Sik from their childhood to their school days, growing up in the same neighborhood. Ae Sun, who constantly pushes Gwan Sik away despite her words and actions betraying her true feelings, and Gwan Sik, who fumbles awkwardly with his clumsy and rough demeanor, bring a smile to viewers’ faces.

In particular, a scene where the two affectionately hold hands even after bickering raises curiosity about the quirky and adorable chemistry they will showcase. Gwan Sik’s line, “I’ll take full responsibility,” and Ae Sun’s narration, “Some faced the ‘No, thank you days’ and did not back down,” further heighten anticipation for the unpredictable and daring adventures that await them.
