MBC’s “Motel California” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

Based on Shim Yoon Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home,” “Motel California” is a romance drama about a woman named Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), who was born and raised in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns home after 12 years and winds up reconnecting with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo).

The released stills show Kang Hee and Yeon Soo showering each other with cheek kisses, completely forgetting the cold weather around them. The two, as if releasing 23 years of suppressed emotions, engage in unabashed displays of affection. Yeon Soo’s beaming expression, as if he’s gained the whole world from Kang Hee’s cheek kisses, makes viewers’ hearts flutter.

The scene of Kang Hee and Yeon Soo sharing bold affection outdoors raises anticipation about whether the two can officially become a couple amidst the meddlesome atmosphere of the close-knit Hana neighborhood.
