Han Ji Min Breaks Down After Learning Painful Truth About Lee Jun Hyuk And Her Father In “Love Scout”

Han Ji Min and Lee Jun Hyuk will face a major crisis in their relationship in tonight’s episode of SBS’s “Love Scout.”

“Love Scout” is a romance drama starring Han Ji Min as Kang Ji Yun, a CEO who is fantastic at her job but inept at everything else, and Lee Jun Hyuk as Yu Eun Ho, her highly competent secretary who is great at not only his job but also childcare and housework.

In the previous episode, the fateful connection between Ji Yun and Eun Ho was unveiled. Ji Yun’s father Kyung Tae (Cho Wan Ki), who promised never to leave her alone, died while saving a trapped child in a devastating apartment fire. Having already lost her mother, Ji Yun was left completely alone and grew up resenting the choice her father made that day.

Then came Eun Ho’s revelation: the child Ji Yun’s father saved was none other than him. Just as Ji Yun finally found someone she could lean on after years of solitude, this shocking truth shattered her world. Overwhelmed, she let go of Eun Ho’s hand. The preview for the next episode hints at her ongoing emotional turmoil as she breaks down, saying, “How can I ever face you the same way again?”

At work, an unspoken tension lingers between Ji Yun and Eun Ho. Despite his resolution to stay by Ji Yun’s side in her father’s place, Eun Ho can do nothing but watch as she keeps her distance.

Meanwhile, Ji Yun visits her father’s columbarium, finally voicing the emotions she has bottled up for years. Through her tears, she pours out the words she longed to say to her father. With renewed resolve, she turns to Eun Ho and tells him, “Thank you… for becoming such a good person.” But is this her final farewell, or a sign that she, too, is determined not to let go?

The production team teased, “Tonight’s episode will follow Ji Yun as she grapples with the shocking truth about Eun Ho. This will be a pivotal moment where emotions run high, and we encourage viewers to pay close attention as Ji Yun comes to terms with this cruel twist of fate. Han Ji Min’s emotionally charged performance will be another key highlight.”
