Bae In Hyuk Witnesses Jung Gun Joo Forcing Marriage On Kim Ji Eun In "Check In Hanyang"

The love triangle between Kim Ji Eun, Bae In Hyuk, and Jung Gun Joo is becoming even more intense in “Check in Hanyang”!

Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.

Jung Gun Joo plays the role of Cheon Jun Hwa, the heir to Yongcheonru, and DKZ’s Jaechan plays Ko Soo Ra, an upstanding but ambitious young man who wants to restore his family’s lost honor.

Previously, Cheon Jun Hwa, who believes he was the first to fall for Hong Duk Soo, decided to follow the advice of his father Cheon Bang Joo (Kim Eui Sung), who said, “You and Hong Duk Soo are destined to be together since childhood,” urging him to become the Grand Master of Yongcheonru and not let Lee Eun Ho take Hong Duk Soo away.

The newly released stills capture Cheon Jun Hwa pushing Hong Duk Soo against a wall. In a preview for episode 15, which was released earlier on February 2, Jun Hwa tells Deok Soo, “Use me, Deok Soo. Marry me,” sparking curiosity.

The desperation of Cheon Jun Hwa, who is experiencing wanting something for the first time in his life but cannot have it, is palpable. Yet, his inability to discern what is truly best for Hong Duk Soo evokes a sense of pity.

Hong Duk Soo, who is aware that Cheon Jun Hwa is the son of her enemy Cheon Bang Joo, is taken aback by Jun Hwa’s sudden marriage proposal. Despite having previously rejected him, Jun Hwa’s persistent advances leave viewers curious about what might be going through Hong Duk Soo’s mind.

Lee Eun Ho, who witnesses this scene, cannot hide his conflicted emotions. Once friends with Cheon Jun Hwa, he now faces him as a rival and looks on at the situation with a sense of regret. Having promised to protect Hong Duk Soo no matter what, attention is drawn to what actions Lee Eun Ho will take next.
