ADOR Issues Brief Response To NewJeans’ Members Rebranding As NJZ

ADOR has issued an official statement following NewJeans members’ announcement of their rebranding as NJZ.

Earlier today, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein revealed their new group name, signaling their decision to move forward as NJZ (pronounced with each letter said individually) amid their ongoing legal dispute with ADOR.

NJZ’s first official appearance under their new name will be at ComplexCon in Hong Kong, where they are set to debut a brand-new song.

In response, ADOR released the following official statement:

We would like to share ADOR’s position regarding NewJeans’ announcement of a new team name.

It is deeply regrettable that the members made this unilateral decision before any legal ruling has been made regarding the validity of their exclusive contracts with ADOR.

ADOR will continue to do our best to protect the brand value of NewJeans.

Additionally, we would like to clarify once more that we are always open to meeting with NewJeans members or their legal representatives to resolve any misunderstandings and discuss the group’s future activities.
