tvN’s “My Dearest Nemesis” has teased the intriguing relationship between its characters!
Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” will tell the love story of Ban Ju Yeon (Choi Hyun Wook) and Baek Su Jeong (Mun Ka Young) who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.
Ahead of the premiere, the drama revealed a relationship chart, mapping the ties between the main and supporting characters.
At the top, there is a black heart between Ban Ju Yeon, the new director of the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store, and Baek Su Jeong, the talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. The two first met through an online game, however, their memories of their first love only remain as an embarrassing and dark past for the two, sparking curiosity.
Seo Ha Jin (Im Se Mi) is linked to Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon as friends she met through gaming. She became friends in real life with Baek Su Jeong, and they have sister-like chemistry. On the other hand, Seo Ha Jin once gamed together with Ban Ju Yeon, raising anticipation for what role she will play in Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon’s romance.
Furthermore, Kim Shin Won (Kwak Si Yang) is linked to Seo Ha Jin with a pink heart, hinting at their upcoming romance. He also has a brotherly relationship with Ban Ju Yeon, whom he has seen since a young age.
The latter part of the chart introduces the characters associated with Yongseong Group including Yongseong Group’s Chairwoman and Ban Ju Yeon’s grandmother Jung Hyo Sun (Ban Hyo Jung) as well as Ban Ju Yeon’s secretary Kwon In Kyung (Kim Young Ah). Jung Hyo Sun will showcase great charisma as she aims to raise Ban Ju Yeon as Yongseong Group’s greatest heir, while Kwon In Kyung will keep a close eye on Ban Ju Yeon’s every move.
The relationship chart further introduces Baek Su Jeong’s family including her father Baek Won Seob (Go Chang Suk) and her younger brother Baek Su Bin (Son Sang Yeon) as well as Yongseong Department’s strategic planning division members including Yang Joon Su (Kim Woo Kyum), Choi Na Na (Im Young Joo), and intern Kim Seok Hee (Sung Seung Ha).
