“Friendly Rivalry” has teased the upcoming premiere episode!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Friendly Rivalry” is a mystery thriller set at Chaehwa Girls’ High School, an elite institution for the top 1 percent in South Korea, where cutthroat academic competition takes place between the students. Chung Su Bin stars as Woo Seul Gi, a transfer student who becomes entangled in her classmates’ hidden ambitions—and the secret behind the mysterious death of her father, a former college entrance exam question setter.

The newly released stills capture a look at Woo Seul Gi’s first day as a transfer student at her new school. From her first day, Woo Seul Gi will become intertwined with top student Yoo Jae Yi (Hyeri).

The stills preview Yoo Jae Yi standing in front of a podium as a student representative and Woo Seul Gi, who gets lost and accidentally enter the auditorium instead of the teacher’s office. The stark contrast between Yoo Jae Yi, who stands at the top of Chaehwa Girls’ High School, and Woo Seul Gi, who alone is wearing a different school uniform, raises even more intrigue about their relationship.
