tvN’s “The Queen Who Crowns” has announced a special appearance by Lee Jun Young, promising to make the finale even more remarkable!
“The Queen Who Crowns” tells the story of Queen Won Gyeong (Cha Joo Young), a kingmaker who dreamed of a new world in the early days of the Joseon dynasty and helped her husband Lee Bang Won (Lee Hyun Wook), a king with whom she shared the power of the throne.

In the previous episode, the story of Won Gyeong and Lee Bang Won, who finally established the foundation of Joseon, was depicted. Now, the only task left for them is to appoint the next ruler who will lead Joseon to prosperity. The preview for episode 11 hinted at a conflict between the two over Crown Prince Yang Nyeong (Moon Seong Hyun), who lacks the qualities of a king, and Prince Chung Nyeong (Park Sang Hoon), who possesses the qualities of a ruler but cannot ascend to the throne. As history reveals, Lee Bang Won ultimately deposes Crown Prince Yang Nyeong and appoints Prince Chung Nyeong as the new crown prince, who becomes the wise and virtuous King Sejong.
For the grand finale of “The Queen Who Crowns,” Lee Jun Young steps in as a strong supporting force, making a special appearance as King Sejong, widely regarded as the greatest king in Korean history.
