Kyung Soo Jin and Lee Ji Hoon’s upcoming film “The Noisy Mansion” is set to premiere later this month!

“The Noisy Mansion” is a mystery-comedy thriller that follows Geo Ul (Kyung Soo Jin), an unemployed woman seeking justice, as she investigates the source of a mysterious noise that echoes through an apartment complex every day at 4 a.m. As the winner of the 2020 Korean Film Council Screenplay Contest and a featured selection at the 19th London Korean Film Festival, the film has already garnered attention for its strong storytelling ahead of its release.

The newly released trailer captures attention with the striking appearance of Geo Ul and her ominous line, “Do you know who the scariest person in the world is?” Geo Ul, an overly meddlesome and unemployed woman who spends her days tirelessly resolving every neighborhood complaint from morning to night, finds herself forced into independence after a conflict with her younger brother and divorced lawyer Du On (Lee Ji Hoon).

On her first night in her new home at Baek Sae Apartment, Geo Ul is awakened at 4 a.m. by a mysterious thumping noise. She soon learns about the ongoing issue of noise that has been tormenting the residents for six months. Determined to catch the culprit, Geo Ul ties her hair back and roams the apartment complex with fierce resolve, showcasing her strong sense of justice and intolerance for wrongdoing.

Adding to the intrigue are the unique and colorful residents of the apartment complex: Kyung Seok (Go Kyu Pil), a young man who was saved by Geo Ul while on the verge of giving up on life; Ji Won (Kim Joo Ryung), the neighborhood gossip queen and residents’ representative; Saet Byeol (Choi Yoojung), a bold and outspoken Gen Z civil service exam student; the apartment security guard (Jung Hee Tae); Moo Hak (Park Jung Hak), a shaman with an unusual aura; and Dong Oh (Bae Jae Young), an ASMR YouTuber with a surprising charm.

The sight of these quirky residents banding together, paired with the tagline, “We’ll protect our apartment no matter what!” sparks curiosity about whether they will uncover the truth behind the inter-floor noise mystery.
