Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Dong Wook, And Seo Jeong Yeon Deliver Heartfelt Performances At Script Reading For New Short Film

The upcoming short film “3 Days” (literal title) has unveiled stills from its first script reading session!

“3 Days” is a poignant family film that follows a son as he holds a three-day funeral for his late mother, experiencing what feels like her final gift to him—time—and finds hope along the way. The film reinterprets the funeral not just as a farewell but as a transformative turning point that marks a new beginning for him.

The script reading took place last November in Seoul, with director Kim Soon Soo and producer Jang Chan Yang leading the session alongside the main cast—Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Dong Wook, and Seo Jeong Yeon. Despite working together for the first time, the trio displayed remarkable chemistry, earning praise from the staff.

Yoo Seung Ho stars as Tae Ha, a son who matures as he bids farewell to his mother on her final journey. Adding to the anticipation, Yoo Seung Ho also contributed to the film’s OST.

Kim Dong Wook takes on the role of Ha Jin, a mysterious funeral director who oversees the unique ceremony, while Seo Jeong Yeon portrays Joo Hee, a warm and understanding mother whose heartfelt performance is sure to move audiences.

Marking his directorial debut, director Kim Soon Soo shared, “I wanted to convey the message that death is not necessarily the end for those mourning their loved ones. Through the three-day funeral, the film illustrates how those left behind can overcome grief and find hope. I hope this movie can bring even a small sense of comfort to many.”

“3 Days” will be released in March.
