Watch: Hwang Minhyun Showcases Impressive Action Skills And Great Chemistry With Cast On Set Of "Study Group"

“Study Group” has shared a new making-of video!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Study Group” is a high school action-comedy about Youn Ga Min (Hwang Minhyun), a student who dreams of excelling academically but is only gifted in fighting. At a high school notorious for being one of the worst in the world, he forms a study group and dives into the ruthless world of college entrance exams.

The newly released making-of video begins with Hwang Minhyun repeatedly rehearsing his lines to make sure the scene is as perfect as it can be.

Despite the cold weather, cast members including Lee Jong Hyun, Shin Su Hyun, Gong Do Yu, Yoon Sang Jung, and more stay lively, showcasing their friendship on set. Hwang Minhyun also easily converses with his on-screen mother Kim Young Ah.

Hwang Minhyun impresses on set with his detailed action scenes, putting on a hot pack on his head to keep warm while filming outdoors. The actor proudly shows off the large-sized hot packs and shares, “It’s not that cold because [I’m filming] action scenes.”

Despite Pi Han Ul (Cha Woo Min) and Youn Ga Min being enemies in the drama, the actors have an easygoing friendship that creates a light-hearted atmosphere on set. Hwang Minhyun gives a brief spoiler for the story to come, sharing that as his character faces stronger opponents, Youn Ga Min will result to using two of his uncle’s forbidden techniques.
