Watch: Na In Woo And Lee Se Young Showcase Fun Chemistry And Professionalism In New "Motel California" Making-Of Video

MBC’s “Motel California” has unveiled a new making-of video, featuring moments from its previous episodes!

Based on Shim Yoon Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home,” “Motel California” is a romance drama about a woman named Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), who was born and raised in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns home after 12 years and winds up reconnecting with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo).

In the newly released video, Na In Woo and Lee Se Young are seen preparing for a romantic outdoor kiss scene. As soon as Na In Woo finishes his rehearsed lines, Lee Se Young playfully grabs his neck and pretends to kiss him, which sparks laughter from the entire cast and crew. Later, Na In Woo is shown humorously leaning toward the director, also mimicking a kiss, causing the director to blush and creates a lighthearted atmosphere on set.

Another clip depicts the two actors filming a heartbreaking breakup scene, where they confess their feelings for each other. Due to the intense cold wave, the surface they’re filming on is frozen, making it difficult for Na In Woo to follow Lee Se Young when her character turns away and walks off. Even in the freezing weather, however, Na In Woo is seen wearing just a cardigan without a padded jacket to maintain the natural feel of the scene. Despite the harsh conditions, he skillfully conveys the emotional depth of the moment, with his eyes welling up with tears, showcasing his impressive acting skills and dedication to his craft.
