Jo Min Soo And Jung Jin Young Find Love While Driving Their Grandchildren To Academies In New Family Drama
The upcoming drama “Riding Life” (literal translation) has unveiled new stills featuring Jo Min Soo and Jung Jin Young!
“Riding Life” follows working mom Lee Jung Eun (Jeon Hye Jin), who asks her mother, Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo), to give her daughter rides to academies as the girl prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies). Set in the cutthroat education hub of Daechi district, the drama takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring.
The drama captures a relatable reality where parents and even grandparents take part in the journey. Jo Min Soo and Jung Jin Young star as Ji Ah and Young Wook, who develop a romantic connection while giving rides for their grandchildren. Ji Ah, a children’s art therapist, and Young Wook, an English literature professor, grow closer as they start giving rides at the request of their daughter and daughter-in-law.
The newly released stills below reveal the beginning of Ji Ah and Young Wook’s romance. Their first meeting takes place in an unexpected setting—an English academy in Daechi district—adding a unique twist. When Young Wook struggles to handle his grandson Min Ho’s sudden outburst, Ji Ah steps in to help, sparking their connection.
Ji Ah and Young Wook’s romance brings a fun, lighthearted touch to the story. Young Wook’s awkwardness after seemingly falling for Ji Ah at first sight adds humor, while their playful interactions with the children offer a refreshing break from the intense world of giving rides.
