Han Sung Min, TEMPEST’s Eunchan, Jung Min Gyu, And Jo Dan Confirmed To Join Choi Ye Na And More In New Sitcom
KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday sitcom “Nation of Villains” (literal translation) has revealed more of its star-studded cast lineup!
On February 11, the production team of “Nation of Villains” announced that in addition to Choi Ye Na, who was confirmed as part of the cast late last year, as well as Oh Na Ra, So Yoo Jin, Seo Hyun Chul, Song Jin Woo, and Park Young Gyu, who were confirmed earlier this month, Han Sung Min, Jung Min Gyu, TEMPEST’s Eunchan, and Jo Dan have now been added to the lineup.
“Nation of Villains” is a comedy that follows two spirited sisters Oh Na Ra (Oh Na Ra) and Oh Yoo Jin (So Yoo Jin) and their eccentric families, capturing their chaotic yet heartwarming daily lives. Directed by Kim Young Jo known for “Woman of 9.9 Billion” and “Cinderella’s Sister,” the show boasts a stellar cast, promising plenty of laughter and nonstop entertainment.
Choi Ye Na will play Goo Won Hee, a guest staying at Oh Na Ra’s house. With her beautiful looks, wealthy family background, and talent for playing the contrabass, second-year high school student Won Hee seems to have it all. However, a sudden turn of events forces her to move in with Oh Na Ra’s family.
Han Sung Min will portray Na Ra and Hyun Chul (Seo Hyun Chul)’s daughter Seo Yi Na. Despite her innocent and pure appearance, Yi Na has a fiery personality and frequently bullies her younger brother Young Hoon.
Jung Min Gyu will play Seo Young Hoon, the youngest son of Na Ra and Hyun Chul and Seo Yi Na’s little brother. Blessed with good looks, Young Hoon is in the same class as Won Hee. He has a strong sense of justice and never ignores friends in trouble. As Won Hee moves into his home, the two gradually grow closer.
Eunchan will take on the role of Song Kang, the eldest son of Oh Yoo Jin and Song Jin Woo. With his striking looks, height, and intelligence, he is his parents’ pride and joy. So dedicated to his studies that he even solves practice problems during breaks, he views his chatty cousin Young Hoon with disdain and coldly shuts down any girls who approach him.
Jo Dan will play Song Ba Da, the youngest son of Yoo Jin and Song Jin Woo and Song Kang’s little brother. As the youngest member of the Oh sisters’ family, Ba Da is expected to captivate viewers with his adorable charm.
The production team of “Nation of Villains” remarked, “Han Sung Min, Jung Min Gyu, Eunchan, and Jo Dan will appear as the children of the Oh sisters, while Choi Ye Na plays a guest in their household, creating an exciting and entertaining story. They will showcase unparalleled synergy that cannot be found anywhere else. This hilarious sitcom, set to bring joy to Wednesday and Thursday nights in 2025, is coming soon to captivate viewers, so please show lots of interest.”
“Nation of Villains” is set to premiere sometime in March. Stay tuned for more updates!
