
Seo Ji Hye, Go Soo, Kim Jae Kyung, And More Confirmed To Star In New Mystery Thriller Drama
Seo Ji Hye, Go Soo, Kim Jae Kyung, and more have been confirmed to star in the upcoming drama adaptation of “Reverse”!
On February 12, production company Outrun Brothers Pictures announced, “We have confirmed the production of the drama adaptation of ‘Reverse,’ the Naver VIBE audio movie that gained attention for the voice acting performances of Lee Sun Bin, Lee Jun Hyuk, Kim Da Som, and Im Won Hee. We ask for your anticipation for ‘Reverse,’ which will deliver a dynamic story and intense performances fitting for the mystery thriller genre, providing viewers with an exciting experience.”
Originally released in 2022 as the third Naver VIBE audio movie following “Floor” and “Far East,” “Reverse” is a mystery thriller that revolves around Myo Jin (voiced by Lee Sun Bin), who loses her memory after a mysterious villa explosion, and her devoted fiancé Jun Ho (voiced by Lee Jun Hyuk), the heir to the Seogwang Group. Together, they uncover the shocking truth behind the explosion. The audio movie captivated a dedicated fanbase with its gripping tension conveyed solely through voice acting.
The drama adaptation of “Reverse” has unveiled its star-studded cast lineup, promising a fresh appeal. The role of Myo Jin will be played by actress Seo Ji Hye, known for her solid acting skills, while the role of Jun Ho will be taken on by the distinguished actor Go Soo, known for his commanding presence. Kim Jae Kyung will portray Hee Soo, and Im Won Hee, who also appeared in the audio movie, will reprise his role as Sang Ho, joined by a talented ensemble cast including Yoon Je Moon, Shim Hyung Tak, Choi Moo Sung, Ku Sung Hwan, Kim Min, Kang Young Seok, Hwang Se In, Lee Hyun Kyung, Ryu Phillip, Yoo Hyun Soo, Kang Sung Ha, Park Mi Hyun, Cha Soon Bae, Im Kang Sung, and Lee Jung Hyun.
The eight-episode OTT drama adaptation of “Reverse” will be co-produced by Outrun Brothers Pictures, Another Pictures, and Naega Mirae Da. Director Im Gun Jung, who helmed the original audio movie, will also write the script and direct the drama. Director Im Gun Jung aims to break away from the conventional formulas of the mystery thriller genre, crafting a project with diverse characters, heightened tension, and a dynamic narrative structure, promising a fresh and unique genre experience.
