tvN’s upcoming drama “The Potato Lab” has shared an in-depth preview!
“The Potato Lab” is a new romantic comedy drama set in a rural potato research institute. The story follows Kim Mi Kyeong (Lee Sun Bin), a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, and So Baek Ho (Kang Tae Oh), a cold and principled corporate director. When So Baek Ho unexpectedly enters Kim Mi Kyeong’s world, the two find themselves entangled in a whirlwind romance.
The newly released teaser begins with the peaceful lives of the potato researchers—who live and breath potatoes—being disrupted as their research institute becomes at risk of disappearing.
Kim Mi Kyeong asks, “Who are we merging with?” as the teaser introduces the dazzling So Baek Ho, the Director of Organizational Reform at Wonhan Retail. As So Baek Ho begins his strict interrogation, Kim Mi Kyeong remarks, “Don’t look down upon our research institute—or I’ll show you what a fiery hell looks like.”
As Kim Mi Kyeong and So Baek Ho continue to childishly butt heads, the voice overs remark, “They are shockingly both not acting their age,” and, “Just you wait—he’ll definitely make your heart flutter,” raising anticipation for the romance between Kim Mi Kyeong and her “fated potato” So Baek Ho.
