Park Bo Gum Confirmed As New Host Of "The Seasons"
It’s official: Park Bo Gum will be taking over as the new host of “The Seasons”!
On February 14, STARNEWS reported that Park Bo Gum has been selected as the new MC for KBS2’s late-night music talk show “The Seasons.” According to the report, the show is currently coordinating its filming schedule and guest lineup, with plans to premiere next month.
In response to the report, KBS officially confirmed, “Park Bo Gum will be the new MC of ‘The Seasons,’ following Lee Young Ji. However, the recording and broadcast schedule have yet to be finalized.”
KBS added, “The subtitle for this new season has not been decided yet. Further details will be announced at a later date.”
KBS2’s “The Seasons” is a music talk show that features a rotating lineup of MCs each season. Previous hosts include Jay Park, Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, and Block B’s Zico. Lee Young Ji, who is currently leading “The Seasons: Rainbow of Lee Young Ji,” will wrap up her run with a final recording on February 18.
With Park Bo Gum stepping in, this marks the first time the show will be hosted by an actor rather than a singer. Notably, Park Bo Gum previously appeared on “The Seasons: Artist with Zico” last May, where he performed a duet with Suzy ahead of the release of their film “Wonderland.”
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming Netflix series with IU, “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”
