Mun Ka Young Has An Adorable Relationship With Her Dad Go Chang Suk In New Drama "My Dearest Nemesis"
tvN’s upcoming drama “My Dearest Nemesis” has shared a glimpse of the cute relationship between Mun Ka Young and her on-screen dad Go Chang Suk!
Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.
Mun Ka Young will star as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Because of her grit and willingness to stand up for herself and fight when necessary, Baek Su Jeong isn’t afraid to duke it out with her bosses—earning her the nickname of “division director killer.” Choi Hyun Wook will star as Baek Su Jeong’s newest boss Ban Ju Yeon, a chaebol heir who also happens to be her embarrassing first love from years ago.
Go Chang Suk will play Baek Su Jeong’s father Baek Won Seok, a hardware store owner who is famous in his neighborhood for doting on his beloved daughter.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Baek Su Jeong pays her dad a visit at his hardware store. A loving daughter who is not only good at her job but also at taking care of her family, Baek Su Jeong worries over her dad working too late as he closes up for the night.
Although they may not resemble each other physically, the father-daughter duo couldn’t be more alike in terms of how they care for one another. As they affectionately link arms and walk down the street together, it’s clear that they have an adorably close relationship.
The “My Dearest Nemesis” production team commented, “In the drama, Mun Ka Young is not only great at her job, but she’s also a daughter who has played the role of head of her household for a long time.”
They continued, “Mun Ka Young and Go Chang Suk don’t resemble each other physically, but they are exactly the same in spirit, and this resemblance will add to the fun of the story. Please look forward to it.”
“My Dearest Nemesis” premieres on February 17 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
