Mun Ka Young Is A Woman With Many Faces In Upcoming Romance Drama 'My Dearest Nemesis'

tvN’s upcoming drama “My Dearest Nemesis” has released new stills of Mun Ka Young in her multifaceted starring role!

Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young will star as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Because of her grit and willingness to stand up for herself and fight when necessary, Baek Su Jeong isn’t afraid to duke it out with her bosses—earning her the nickname of “division director killer.” Choi Hyun Wook will star as Baek Su Jeong’s newest boss Ban Ju Yeon, a chaebol heir who also happens to be her embarrassing first love from years ago.

Because “My Dearest Nemesis” is a blend of several different genres, Mun Ka Young will have the chance to show off her versatility and acting chops by transitioning seamlessly between romance, action, and comedy.

As Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon first meet while playing an online game, one photo from the upcoming drama shows her dressed up as her male character from the game—and viewers can look forward to her fun action scenes within the world of the game.

Other stills show Baek Su Jeong years later, when she has become the feared “division director killer” at Yongseong Department Store.

As an older employee, Baek Su Jeong will steal Ban Ju Yeon’s heart with her contrasting charms: despite exuding a mature aura, she also has a bubbly and adorably cheerful personality that will put the “comedy” in “rom-com.”

“My Dearest Nemesis” premieres on February 17 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
