BTS's Jimin's "Who" Is 1st K-Pop Male Solo Song Since PSY's "Gangnam Style" To Go BRIT Gold In UK
BTS’s Jimin has gone gold in the United Kingdom for the first time as a soloist!
This week, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that Jimin’s hit single “Who” had received an official BRIT gold certification, making it his first solo song to achieve the feat.
According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, singles are certified gold at 400,000 units sold, while albums are certified gold at 100,000 units sold.
“Who” is now the first song by a Korean male soloist since PSY’s iconic 2012 hit “Gangnam Style” to be certified gold in the United Kingdom.
