Watch: Boy Group Member Covers CNBLUE On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” the identity of “Daily Schedule” was revealed!

During the February 16 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, eight new contestants stepped up to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.

In the third match-up of Round 1, “Daily Schedule” faced off with “Vacation Homework” through a duet version of Tim’s classic ballad “I Love You.”

After watching their performance, several of the celebrity panelists speculated that Daily Schedule might be a model due to his impressive height and physique.

Although Daily Schedule earned praise for his charming vocals and for capturing the essence of the original song, he ultimately lost the round to his opponent.

The masked singer then remained on stage to perform a rousing cover of CNBLUE’s hit debut song “I’m a Loner.” Halfway through, he took off his mask to reveal that he was none other than PENTAGON’s Wooseok.

Wooseok, who made his solo debut last year, confessed that it wasn’t easy for him to perform on his own. “When I’m with the other [PENTAGON members], I can rely on them, and we can discuss our ideas and opinions, which always made me feel secure,” he shared. “When I’m on my own, there’s a lot more for me to do, which I think made me feel very nervous and afraid.”

“But the reason I came on ‘The King of Mask Singer’ in spite of that is because I wanted to capture this nervous and uncertain side of myself, so I could look back on it for years to come,” he continued. “When 2025 and even 2026 have passed, after I have improved [as a performer], I think I’ll feel proud when I watch this performance again. Because I worked hard to prepare before I came here.”

When asked about his goals for the year ahead, Wooseok replied, “First, I’d like to perform a lot. Next, I hope that many people can listen to my upcoming album and feel my sincerity through its songs. It’s my motto and philosophy to work my hardest and do my best each and every single day, so I hope to do that in the future.”
