Lee Byung Hun Is Determined To Reclaim His Title As Go Champion In Upcoming Film "The Match"
Upcoming film “The Match” (literal translation) has revealed its first poster and its release date!
On February 17, the film’s distributor officially announced that “The Match” will hit theaters on March 26.
Directed by Kim Hyung Joo of “The Sheriff in Town,” “The Match” tells the story of the rivalry between legendary Go player Cho Hun Hyun (Lee Byung Hun) and his protégé Lee Chang Ho (Yoo Ah In). After losing to his student, Cho Hun Hyun embarks on a quest to reclaim his title.
The poster shows Lee Byung Hun holding his face in one hand, his expression intense and filled with determination as he mentally prepares for the high-stakes showdown. The tagline reads, “The match begins now,” setting the stage for what promises to be a tense and dramatic clash between mentor and student.
“The Match” is set to hit theaters on March 26.
