Yoo In Soo To Reunite With "Alchemy Of Souls" Co-Star Hwang Minhyun In Special Appearance For “Study Group”

Yoo In Soo will be making a special appearance in the TVING original drama “Study Group”!

On February 17, his agency Management Koo stated, “Yoo In Soo will be making a special appearance in TVING’s ‘Study Group.’ Please look forward to the charm he will bring to the role.”

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Study Group” is a high school action-comedy about Youn Ga Min (Hwang Minhyun), a student who dreams of excelling academically but is only gifted in fighting.

Yoo In Soo will portray Choo Jae Hwang, a second-year student at Yusung Technical High School and the villainous son of Choo Sung Woong, the enforcer of the Yeonbaek gang. Making a dramatic entrance in Episode 9, he will go head-to-head with the “Study Group” members, delivering intense action sequences and a commanding presence that will leave a lasting impression through the finale.

Notably, “Study Group” marks a reunion for Yoo In Soo and Hwang Minhyun, who previously co-starred in “Alchemy of Souls” and “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow.” He will also be working with Shin Su Hyun, his co-star from “At a Distance, Spring is Green” and “Usury Academy.”

Currently, Yoo In Soo is serving in the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) Band as an MC soldier after enlisting on November 18, 2024. His last pre-enlistment project, the film “Boy,” is slated for release in the first half of this year.
