MBC’s “Motel California” has shared a new making-of video for the final episode!

Based on Shim Yoon Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home,” “Motel California” is a romance drama about a woman named Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), who was born and raised in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns home after 12 years and winds up reconnecting with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo).

The newly released making-of video begins with Lee Se Young practicing her lines with Choi Min Soo. The two get immediately into character as they sincerely deliver their lines.

In another scene, Na In Woo suggests draping his cardigan over Lee Se Young. However, Lee Se Young gets into character and hilariously jokes, “Whose is this? It looks like it could belong to a woman. Who are you meeting up with?” Na In Woo jokes back, “Yoon Nan Woo (Choi Hee Jin).”

The set of the final filming depicts the “Motel California” cast in high spirits as they practice singing a birthday song for Ji Chun Pil (Choi Min Soo). Lee Se Young and Na In Woo further express affection for Choi Min Soo with warm hugs following the filming.
