"Undercover High School" Cast Highlights What Makes The Drama A Must-Watch

The stars of MBC’s upcoming drama “Undercover High School” have shared their thoughts on what viewers can look forward to in the drama!

“Undercover High School” is a comedy action drama that follows Jeong Hae Seong (Seo Kang Jun), a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down Emperor Gojong’s missing gold.

Seo Kang Jun, who plays Jeong Hae Seong, an NIS agent assigned to a covert mission to uncover the whereabouts of the missing gold bars, shared his perspective on the drama. He remarked, “I hope viewers will stay tuned to see the events that unfold as Hae Seong goes undercover in a high school. Also, I’d love for them to focus on how his journey evolves from being ‘alone’ to embracing the power of ‘together.’”

Describing the drama as a “gift set” of genres, Seo Kang Jun explained, “It’s a drama that blends comedy, crime, and heartfelt moments all in one. I hope it feels like a special present for the viewers.”

Jin Ki Joo, who stars as Oh Soo Ah, a temporary Korean history teacher and Jeong Hae Seong’s homeroom teacher, expressed, “I’m really looking forward to seeing Seo Kang Jun’s action scenes as a NIS agent. If viewers focus on that, they’ll find the drama even more thrilling and enjoyable.” Calling the drama a “genre buffet,” she added, “’Undercover High School’ will make you laugh, swoon, get excited, and even feel chills—so please look forward to it!”

Meanwhile, Kim Shin Rok, who takes on the role of Seo Myung Joo, the chairwoman of Byungmun Foundation and Byungmun High School, likened the drama to a “variety pack of ice cream.” She explained, “Just like a tub filled with different flavors, this drama offers a mix of genres and fun elements all in one. You’ll be able to enjoy its diverse charms just like savoring different scoops of your favorite ice cream.”
