EXO's Xiumin And WJSN's Exy's Upcoming Rom-Com "Heo's Diner" Announces Premiere Date
EXO’s Xiumin and WJSN’s Exy’s new drama “Heo’s Diner” has revealed its premiere date!
On February 18, the production team announced that the upcoming series will debut on March 24.
“Heo’s Diner” is a fantasy rom-com about the events that unfold when Heo Gyun, a figure from the Joseon era, travels 400 years into present time and unintentionally starts a restaurant.
Xiumin will star as Heo Gyun, a brilliant writer with a sharp eye for aesthetics. Heo Gyun, the first food columnist of the Joseon era, learns that his friends have been falsely accused of treason. While escaping, he accidentally time-travels to the present day. There, he meets Bong Eun Sil (Exy) and begins cooking.
Exy will play Bong Eun Sil, the daughter of a family that runs a small, signless restaurant. Eun Sil is strong-willed and outspoken, and she cannot tolerate injustice. One day, she meets Heo Gyun, who appears at the restaurant dressed like a homeless man.
Lee Sae On will take on two roles: Lee Yi Cheom, a man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and Lee Hyuk, the youngest chef to earn the title of Korean Master Chef.
Lee Soo Min will also play the dual roles of Mae Chang, a beautiful woman with the temperament of an outstanding entertainer, and Jung Mi Sol, a former child actor who went on to become a star in Korean commercials. Lee Sae On and Lee Soo Min will each switch between roles in the Joseon Dynasty and the present day.
“Heo’s Diner” is set to premiere on March 24 at 5 p.m. KST via Netflix.
