Lee Dong Wook's Upcoming Office Rom-Com "The Divorce Insurance" Confirms Premiere Date In New Poster
tvN’s upcoming drama “The Divorce Insurance” has shared its first poster starring Lee Dong Wook!
Starring Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Da Hee, “The Divorce Insurance” is an office rom-com that will tell the story of a man who works at an innovative product development team of an insurance company, devising insurance plans related to divorce.
The drama will be helmed by director Lee Won Seok of “Killing Romance” and scriptwriter Lee Tae Yoon of “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.”
The newly released poster piques intrigue as it proposes a unique concept. From life to car and travel insurances, the poster lists all different types of insurances, but it raises the idea that divorce is also an unexpected disaster that can strike in life. The persuasive copy, “You also need to be prepared for divorce,” teases the creative imagination of Noh Ki Jun (Lee Dong Wook) who introduces the novel idea of divorce coverage to support those facing a major turning point in life.
Lee Dong Wook plays Noh Ki Jun, an insurance actuary in the innovative product development team of Plus Insurance. Seemingly perfect, Noh Ki Jun has actually experienced three divorces, losing both his money and his soul in the process. Despite the stigma surrounding divorce, Noh Ki Jun remains boldly open about his divorce history. Recognizing that divorce is an unforeseen disaster in an era of skyrocketing divorce rates, Noh Ki Jun develops a new divorce insurance product.
Lee Joo Bin will take on the role of Kang Han Deul, an insurance company underwriter who reviews insurance contracts. Although she believed for a long time that enduring hardships was the answer, Kang Han Deul resolves to become a completely different person after divorce. A capable underwriter, Kang Han Deul joins Noh Ki Jun’s divorce insurance development team, developing a relationship with Noh Ki Jun in the process of gaining the courage to step out into the world.
Lee Kwang Soo will play the cautious and serious Ahn Jeon Man. As a risk surveyor who proposes preventive measures and efficient insurance programs, he embarks on the biggest adventure of his life when he joins Noh Ki Jun’s divorce insurance project. Although he tries to appear cool and nonchalant on the outside, he is actually very timid, and he faces the greatest turning point in life by joining the new team.
Lee Da Hee will play Jeon Na Rae, a financial mathematician who views the world through the lens of investment. Unable to relate to the concept of “investing” everything in one person through marriage, she divorced immediately after returning from her honeymoon due to differences in values. Living confidently without regrets about all the choices she made in her life, Jeon Na Rae slowly begins to change after joining Noh Ki Jun’s team and a special consultant.
