Sung Dong Il Confirmed To Join Lee Junho And Kim Min Ha In New Drama
Sung Dong Il is set to join Lee Junho and Kim Min Ha in a new drama!
On February 19, tvN confirmed to a media outlet, “Actor Sung Dong Il will appear in ‘Typhoon Company’ (literal title) as Lee Junho’s father.” Kim Min Ha and Lee Junho were previously confirmed to star in the drama.
“Typhoon Company” follows the journey of CEO Kang Tae Poong (Lee Junho) struggling to protect Typhoon Company, the small business left by his father, as he navigates the trials of the IMF crisis in 1997. The fierce story of survival will deliver heartfelt messages of comfort and courage to those facing challenges today.
Sung Dong Il will play Kang Jin Young, the founder of Typhoon Company, who built the company from the ground up but faces a crisis during the financial downturn.
Often called the “nation’s father,” Sung Dong Il has been praised for his roles in various projects, including the “Reply” series. Fans are eager to see what kind of father figure he will portray in “Typhoon Company.”
