Upcoming film “The Match” has unveiled a gripping teaser!
Directed by Kim Hyung Joo of “The Sheriff in Town,” “The Match” tells the story of the rivalry between legendary Go player Cho Hun Hyun (Lee Byung Hun) and his protégé Lee Chang Ho (Yoo Ah In). After losing to his student, Cho Hun Hyun embarks on a quest to reclaim his title.
The newly released teaser highlights Lee Byung Hun’s striking transformation into South Korean Go legend Cho Hun Hyun. The film follows Cho Hun Hyun’s rise to the pinnacle of his career, winning the World Professional Go Championship and becoming a national hero.
He takes in Lee Chang Ho (Kim Kang Hoon), a young Go prodigy with extraordinary talent, as his disciple. Their relationship soon evolves into a fierce rivalry, leading to legendary battles that define their legacies.
Go Chang Suk, Hyun Bong Sik, and Moon Jung Hee also appear, adding depth to the story.
