BTS's Jimin Makes Billboard 200 History As 1st Korean Soloist To Chart An Album For 30 Weeks
Seven months after its release, BTS’s Jimin’s latest solo album continues to make history on the Billboard 200!
On February 19 local time, Billboard revealed that Jimin’s album “MUSE” had successfully remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 132, marking its 30th consecutive week on the chart.
“MUSE” has now become the first album by a Korean solo artist ever to spend 30 weeks on the Billboard 200. Even including groups, the only other Korean artist ever to chart an album for 30 weeks on the Billboard 200 is Jimin’s own group BTS.
Meanwhile, Jimin extended his own record as the longest-charting K-pop soloist on Billboard’s Artist 100, where he ranked No. 83 in his 37th week on the chart.
Outside of the Billboard 200, “MUSE” held steady at No. 2 in its 30th week on Billboard’s World Albums chart.
Jimin’s title track “Who” also stayed strong at No. 40 in its 29th week on Billboard’s Hot 100, in addition to sweeping the No. 26 spot on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart in its 30th week on both charts.
Finally, “Who” took No. 28 in its 30th week on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart.
Congratulations to Jimin on his new record!
