Kim Hye Ja Steps Into Heaven With A Special Gift Awaiting Her In New Drama “Heavenly Ever After” Poster
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Heavenly Ever After” has unveiled its first poster!
“Heavenly Ever After” depicts a transcendent romance about a protagonist who reunites with their loved one in heaven after death. The drama is directed by Kim Suk Yoon, known for hit series such as “Radiant” (also known as “The Light in Your Eyes”), “Law School,” and “My Liberation Notes.”
Kim Hye Ja stars as Lee Hae Sook, an 80-year-old woman who reunites with her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku) in heaven—only to discover he has returned to his 30s. After losing him in an accident, she was suddenly forced to take on the role of head of the household. Over the years, she became a battle-hardened fighter, sharpening her survival skills while overcoming life’s toughest financial struggles.
Hoping for a peaceful afterlife with her husband, Lee Hae Sook instead finds herself the only one in heaven who remains her real age, setting the stage for an unpredictable and emotional journey.
The newly released poster offers a glimpse into this unique afterlife. Lee Hae Sook stands with a bright smile, holding a book, while beside her sits a massive gift box wrapped in a pink ribbon. The intriguing tagline reads, “Everyone who arrives in heaven, welcome!”
“Heavenly Ever After” is set to premiere in April this year. Stay tuned!
