Watch: Kwak Sun Young, Yuri, And Lee Seol Get Entangled Through A Long-Buried Past In Gripping Trailer For “Somebody”

The upcoming film “Somebody” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

On February 20, the film’s distributor Studio Santa Claus Entertainment officially announced that “Somebody” will premiere on March 12 and unveiled a gripping special poster and main trailer to heighten anticipation.

“Somebody” is a gripping psychological thriller that follows Yeong Eun (Kwak Sun Young), whose ordinary life begins to unravel due to her daughter So Hyun (Gi So You)’s unsettling behavior, and Min (Girls’ Generation’s Yuri), a woman with no recollection of her past, who crosses paths with the enigmatic and unnerving Hae Young (Lee Seol), setting off a chain of unsettling events.

The newly released poster captivates with its striking visuals—Kwak Sun Young, Yuri, Lee Seol, and child actress Gi So You stare in different directions, their fragmented gazes hinting at the eerie, intrusive connections between them.

Gi So You stars as So Hyun, a seven-year-old whose unsettling actions disrupt those around her, while Kwak Sun Young portrays Yeong Eun, So Hyun’s single mother who desperately tries to protect her child.

The film then jumps to 20 years later, as Min (Yuri)—who has lost all memories of her past and now works for a specialized cleaning service—finds her world disrupted by the sudden appearance of the mysterious Hae Young (Lee Seol). Echoing the film’s ominous tagline, “Ever since I met you, everything started falling apart,” the story unfolds across two timelines 20 years apart, weaving a gripping suspense that will leave audiences on edge.

The main trailer further heightens intrigue, offering a chilling glimpse into the film’s suspenseful narrative.

It opens with Min jolting awake from a nightmare, intercut with flashes of Yeong Eun and So Hyun’s tense reality 20 years earlier. As Min—who has no recollection of her true identity and remains deeply distrustful of others—finds her life increasingly intruded upon by Hae Young, the tension builds toward a gripping confrontation.

In one scene, Min coldly warns Hae Young, “This isn’t your home. Stay for a bit, then leave,” while Hae Young gazes back with an unreadable expression, amplifying the suspense. Meanwhile, the trailer delivers another haunting revelation with the line, “20 years ago, everyone called you a monster,” hinting at the dark mystery surrounding Yeong Eun’s desperate struggle to control her daughter’s increasingly disturbing behavior.
