Jung Jinyoung And TWICE’s Dahyun Gush About The Joyful Atmosphere On Set Of “You Are The Apple Of My Eye”

The upcoming Korean remake of “You Are the Apple of My Eye” has shared a glimpse of its cast’s delightful off-screen chemistry!

Based on the popular Taiwanese coming-of-age romance film of the same name, “You Are the Apple of My Eye” tells the story of Jin Woo (B1A4’s Jung Jinyoung), an 18-year-old who spends countless days building up the courage to confess his feelings to his first love Seon Ah (TWICE’s Dahyun).

The newly unveiled behind-the-scenes photos capture Jung Jinyoung, Dahyun, Sohn Jeong Hyuck, Kim Yo Han, Lee Min Goo, Lee Seung Jun, and Kim Min Ju sharing playful moments and radiating youthful energy. From laughing and joking to creating unforgettable memories, the stills perfectly encapsulate the carefree joy of high school friendships. Off-camera, the cast reportedly formed an incredibly close bond, even attending workshops together—further strengthening their on-screen synergy.

Jinyoung shared, “Since we’re all around the same age, we quickly became close and relied on each other while acting. During breaks, we played games and went out for delicious food together, just like real friends.”

Dahyun also fondly recalled the filming experience, saying, “Because our personalities were so similar to our characters, we never stopped laughing. The atmosphere on set was so great that I genuinely looked forward to filming every day.”

Reflecting on the project, Jinyoung expressed his gratitude: “The set of ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ was just as bright and unforgettable [as the youth we portrayed]. I’m so thankful to everyone who created these wonderful memories with us—I’ll never forget them.”

Dahyun echoed his sentiment, adding, “I was incredibly happy while filming this movie. Looking through the making book brought back so many joyful memories. I’m grateful that my first film is preserved through these pictures. I will cherish them forever.
