Park Hyung Sik Falls To His Knees After Facing Major Shock In "Buried Hearts"
SBS’s upcoming drama “Buried Hearts” has released an intriguing glimpse of its premiere!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.
Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team. Although he appears on the outside to be a loyal “Daesan man” through and through, Seo Dong Joo is secretly full of ambition and ready to seize an opportunity to swallow Daesan Group whole.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming first episode, Seo Dong Joo initially looks perfectly polished and put-together as he stands beside Daesan Group chairman Cha Kang Cheon (Woo Hyun). With his stoic poker face and slightly cold aura, the poised Seo Dong Joo appears ready to climb to even greater heights within the company.
However, the next photo captures Seo Dong Joo looking startled by something he sees in front of him—and in the final still, Seo Dong Joo falls to his knees in shock and despair. With his previous poise nowhere to be found, Seo Dong Joo is visibly overwhelmed with emotion as several other men attempt to hold him up.
The drama’s production team teased, “In the first episode of ‘Buried Hearts,’ which airs tonight, something shocking that he could never have imagined happens to Seo Dong Joo, who was confident that he could do well both in his career and in love. And this incident will completely turn Seo Dong Joo’s life upside down. As this scene is extremely crucial to the drama’s plot, Park Hyung Sik poured all of his energy and passion into acting it out. Please look forward to it.”
“Buried Hearts” will premiere on February 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
