Choi Hyun Wook Can't Take His Eyes Off Mun Ka Young In 'My Dearest Nemesis'

Get ready for a shift in Choi Hyun Wook and Mun Ka Young’s relationship in “My Dearest Nemesis”!

Based on a popular webtoon, tvN’s “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young stars as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Choi Hyun Wook plays Baek Su Jeong’s new boss Ban Ju Yeon, a chaebol heir who also happens to be her embarrassing first love from years ago.

Spoilers

On the second episode of “My Dearest Nemesis,” Ban Ju Yeon kept a close eye on Baek Su Jeong after she became the only witness to his secret double life. At the end of the episode, Ju Yeon stepped in to save Su Jeong from an uncomfortable situation with another chaebol heir, delivering the unforgettable line “Baby, let’s go.”

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the couple shares a heart-stopping moment while locking eyes in close proximity. After getting off work, Ju Yeon and Su Jeong walk down the street together—and Ju Yeon seems unable to take his eyes off Su Jeong. Unlike before, when Su Jeong was merely a target for surveillance, there is something decidedly more romantic about Ju Yeon’s gaze as he stares at her from up close.

When Su Jeong gets a phone call that stops her in her tracks, she tries—and fails—to hide the fact that she’s been startled. As she swallows nervously while on the phone, Ju Yeon watches her closely, clearly curious about what’s happening.

Later, the tension between the two characters is palpable as they make eye contact—and Su Jeong appears frozen in place, as if time has stopped. In contrast to their previous bickering, something has visibly changed between the pair, who seem lost in one another’s eyes.

The next episode of “My Dearest Nemesis” will air on February 24 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
