tvN’s upcoming rom-com “The Divorce Insurance” has shared a new making-of video from the drama’s script reading!

“The Divorce Insurance” is an office rom-com that will follow the story of Noh Ki Jun (Lee Dong Wook), who works at an innovative product development team of an insurance company, devising insurance plans related to divorce.

The newly released making-of video previews the dedication of the cast at the script reading as they immerse themselves into their roles.

Lee Dong Wook plays Noh Ki Jun, an insurance actuary in the innovative product development team of Plus Insurance. Regarding his character, Lee Dong Wook shares, “He works at an insurance company, and he experienced divorce three times,” which is how he develops the idea of a “divorce insurance.”

Lee Joo Bin takes on the role of Kang Han Deul, an insurance company underwriter who reviews insurance contract.

Lee Kwang Soo plays the cautious and serious Ahn Jeon Man (which sounds like “safety man” in Korean), who is a risk surveyor. The actor shared, “As his name suggests, he considers safety to be very important, and he tries to minimize risks.”

Kim Won Hae impresses as Na Dae Bok, a team leader of the insurance company who is pressured by his performance record. Furthermore, WJSN’s Exy plays Jo Ah Young, a confident and independent character who doesn’t believe in marriage.

Lee Dong Wook shares the reason why he chose “The Divorce Insurance,” saying, “The story is very interesting. Furthermore, all the characters felt alive. The synergy and chemistry between the characters are also great, so I chose this project thinking I could have an enjoyable time while working on this project.”

Lee Joo Bin shares, “The subject of divorce insurance felt very novel,” expressing her excitement to work with the cast and crew, while Lee Kwang Soo remarks, “I thought it is a very refined script.”
