The upcoming film “Lobby” has locked in its release date and dropped its first trailer!
Directed by Ha Jung Woo, “Lobby” follows the story of Chang Wook (Ha Jung Woo), a startup CEO who has spent his life focused solely on research. However, when faced with the challenge of securing a 4-trillion-won (approximately $2.8 billion) government contract, he is forced to step into the high-stakes world of lobbyist golf for the first time.
Offering a raw and unfiltered look into the world of lobbyist golf, “Lobby” boasts a star-studded lineup, including Ha Jung Woo, Kim Eui Sung, Kang Hae Rim, Lee Dong Hwi, Park Byung Eun, Kang Mal Geum, Choi Siwon, Cha Joo Young, Park Hae Soo, and Kwak Sun Young.
The teaser introduces Chang Wook as a man determined to rely solely on his expertise and technical skills. However, as he continuously loses ground to his business rival Kwang Woo (Park Byung Eun)—a seasoned player in the art of lobbying—his company faces mounting financial pressure. Realizing he may need to fight fire with fire, Chang Wook defiantly declares, “Let’s fight back—even if it’s dirty,” marking his reluctant but inevitable plunge into the world of lobbyist golf. The trailer further amplifies the tension, contrasting his team of lobbying rookies against their seasoned veteran counterparts, setting the stage for a sharp, satirical showdown.
“Lobby” is set to hit theaters on April 2.
