iKON's Junhoe And Ji Seung Hyun Confirmed To Join Lee Joo Young In New Thriller Drama
Lee Joo Young, iKON’s Junhoe, and Ji Seung Hyun will be starring in a new drama together!
“Punishment” (literal title) is a revenge thriller drama that tells the story of an unknown actor who, after losing their parents to a phishing scam, infiltrates a massive voice phishing organization using deepfake technology and works to bring them down. The drama enhances its realism by incorporating various real-life examples of voice phishing scams, such as credit card loan fraud and messenger phishing, which have become significant social issues.
The lead roles will be played by actress Lee Joo Young, known for her solid acting skills in various projects including the dramas “Deal” and “Itaewon Class” as well as the films “Broker” and “Maggie.” Joining her is iKON’s Junhoe, who has been building a diverse filmography with projects such as “Twinkling Watermelon” and “True To Love.” Actor Ji Seung Hyun, who made a strong impression in the dramas “Good Partner” and “The Escape of the Seven,” will also star in the drama.
